Synopsis

Buku ini membahas penyusunan skripsi kualitatif dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan keteknikan dengan menempatkan transformasi digital, AI, dan teknologi masa depan sebagai konteks utama. Pada bagian awal, pembaca diperkenalkan pada hakikat skripsi kualitatif, karakteristik penelitian kualitatif pendidikan keteknikan, serta pentingnya memahami realitas pendidikan melalui pengalaman, makna, proses, dan konteks lapangan. Buku ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan keteknikan tidak hanya berlangsung di ruang kelas, tetapi juga di bengkel, laboratorium, ruang komputer, tempat praktik industri, dan lingkungan kerja yang sarat dengan keterampilan nyata. Oleh karena itu, penelitian kualitatif dipandang relevan untuk membaca dinamika pembelajaran praktik, budaya kerja, keselamatan kerja, kesiapan kerja, dan adaptasi teknologi secara lebih mendalam.

Bagian berikutnya mengarahkan pembaca untuk menemukan fenomena penelitian, mengidentifikasi sumber masalah di lapangan, memahami research gap, serta menyusun latar belakang yang aktual dan kontekstual. Buku ini juga menjelaskan cara merumuskan judul, fokus penelitian, pertanyaan penelitian, tujuan, dan manfaat penelitian agar sesuai dengan logika kualitatif. Dalam penelitian kualitatif, fokus kajian tidak diarahkan pada hubungan antarvariabel, tetapi pada pengalaman, persepsi, strategi, proses, budaya, hambatan, makna, dan praktik sosial yang terjadi dalam konteks tertentu. Pembaca juga diarahkan untuk menyusun konsep utama, definisi istilah, ruang lingkup, dan batasan kajian agar penelitian memiliki arah yang jelas tanpa kehilangan keterbukaan terhadap temuan lapangan.

Pada bagian akhir, buku ini membahas pentingnya kajian teori, penelitian terdahulu, research gap, novelty, kerangka berpikir, kerangka konseptual, asumsi penelitian, dan proposisi awal dalam skripsi kualitatif. Kajian teori diposisikan sebagai lensa untuk membaca fenomena, bukan sekadar kumpulan kutipan. Penelitian terdahulu digunakan untuk menunjukkan posisi kajian, menemukan celah penelitian, dan merumuskan kebaruan yang bermakna. Buku ini juga menegaskan bahwa kerangka berpikir dalam penelitian kualitatif berfungsi sebagai peta awal yang membantu peneliti memahami hubungan antara fenomena, teori, konteks, dan arah penggalian data. Secara keseluruhan, buku ini memberi panduan sistematis bagi mahasiswa agar mampu menyusun skripsi kualitatif pendidikan keteknikan yang relevan, reflektif, etis, dan responsif terhadap perkembangan AI serta teknologi masa depan.
